Holmgreen Candle Shop is a family run candle company based in England.
Being Scandinavians we wanted to share the Love we Danes have for Hygge - and being in the moment - with our new adopted country England where we have lived for over 20 years.

Our founder Janni Holmgreen is sharing her passion for Hygge through our Candle Company. The foundation is based on memories of Denmark, where Hygge is a very important part of our society. Danes love being together with family and friends, and Candles are always a part of these Happy times together.
All of our candles are all hand poured with Love and Care. We only use Soy Wax in our candles, as soy burns cleaner, and is a better choice for the environment. Soy is naturally sourced, and it is a Vegan, Eco-friendly and cruelty free ingredient. What's not to love?
As Scandinavians we care deeply about the environment, and are working hard to make sure that we do the best we can for our planet. We simply want to make a candle that is the best for you, your home and the world.

All my Candles are based on memories from Denmark of my lovely childhood with my mum.
My mum has a flair for gardening, and one of my favourite childhood memories is being with her in the garden, and looking after all the plants and flowers.
Many of the Candles I create are based on childhood memories of fresh flowers in the garden.
